rolling admissions

is it true that if you apply under rolling admissions you donot get aid or it is tough to get aid?

I don't think so. Rolling admissions schools don't have ED or RD, or anything like that. They consider applications as they come in, and accept students as they find qualified ones. I think it might actually be easier to get aid if you apply early, because they have more money to play around with, but that's unconfirmed so don't quote me on it.

what is RD?

regular decision. apply by dec-feb and get an answer on april 1.

Rolling decision schools do give both merit and need based aid as a general rule. Rolling admissions only differ from regular admissions in that they consider applications as they are submitted.

k thanks u guys

If you are interested in merit money, then apply sooner rather than later! In fact, as soon as possible.
