Rolling and if so how soon?

Is Rutgers rolling admission and if so what is the earliest they might give an answer?

They can technically give you an answer the day after you apply. It depends how competitive you are... if youre grades are way over their avg and you're obviously going to get in, they won't make you wait long most likely.I think some people on this board have heard back already, possibly?

My D applied as freshman transfer student by priority deadline last week and was accepted within a week. Very impressed with the quick response!!
She had 3.72 gpa, 1980 SAT, good activities and great essay as a reference point.

One of my peers applied for the pharmacy program and was accepted within 4 days. This happened like three weeks ago. Im still stunned... it was ridiculously quick and im not even joking.

i applied early decision to a private school... do you think that i can apply rolling decision to princeton as well? or would that violate the early decision thing?

??? Princeton does not have rolling admissions. It wouldn't violate early decision if you applied now to Rutgers through rolling admissions, though.

i mean oops ... i applied to princeton early decision.. can i apply rolling decision to rutgers.. lol typo... i'm so used to typing princeton princeton princeton for everything

so that means if your sat scores aren't that good and stuff, they take long to respond back to you?

yes you can apply to rutgers because the stimulation of ed is that you do not apply to any other ed or single choice schools. it does not apply to any other regular decision schools that you want to apply too. Good luck

sthug, no, they don't necessarily take longer because a kid's stats aren't as good. Some really good students have posted here and said they are still waiting for a response after six weeks or longer. Others get answers super fast. Just seems to be the luck of the draw.

i applied on monday and i found out tonight that i was accepted (five days)

I'm plannin to apply to Rutgers very soon, if i get accepted within a few weeks or sometime soon, will i still have until May 1st like most other schools to accept their offer of admission?

Yes, everyone has until the deadline of May 1 to make a final decision.

rutgers had all my stuff by dec 1st...i found out online tday that i got accepted
