<p>I'm a junior in high school and I'm planning on applying to PSU UP this summer for enrollment Fall 2012. I was just wondering - will I find out earlier than if I apply by the actual deadline or will I be waiting for months? I'm also planning on applying to the Shreyer Honors College this summer - does anyone know how that will work?

<p>You said that you were going to apply during the summer but the fall application (fall 2012) won’t be available until September 1st. If you applied and sent in your money and transcripts by september 1st, the longest you’ll wait is febuary. I had my things in by October and heard back in january.</p>
<p>Its most likely that you’ll have to wait a few months no matter when you apply but applying earlier does improve your chances of being accepted. </p>
<p>You apply to schreyers on the normal application. Its as simple as checking a box, writing three more essays and sending in an extra thirty dollars.</p>
<p>Once accepted to the University you’ll be considered for schreyers.</p>
<p>Just apply early I applied at the end of October and heard at the beginning of december.</p>
<p>Apply as early as you can. DS applied before Oct 1 and he heard back in early December.</p>
