<p>CALS is one of 3 colleges at Cornell that offers rolling decisions...exceptionally qualified students that are admitted to one of these colleges may receive notification of their acceptance before the Ivy League common notification date of 3/31.</p>

it's just now, small letter doesn't necessarily mean rejection</p>

<p>Well...think of it this way: since the rolling decision schools will only mail acceptances right now...if you get a small envelope from Cornell before 3/31 it's more than likely an acceptance ;)</p>

<p>i applied to cals and i'm from ny. only know of one other person from my school who also got a letter yesterday. i was totally freaking out because, as someone previously mentioned, the letter was thin and only contained one sheet of paper.</p>

brokenpiano, my mom had the exact same freak out response when she saw how thin the envelope was =P
