Rolling Decisions are being released!

CAHATH- I applied Nov 3rd

CAHATH if you don’t mind me asking… what were your SAT scores?

alright cool! maybe that means i’ll be hearing soon…i applied november 6th.
kindasortasmart - i’ll just give you all my main stats haha - 3.6 UW GPA, 1620/2400, (SATs are my weakest haha) 16/215 - class rank (top 10%), 12 Honors, 3 AP’s

It’s funny, our stats are kinda reverse of each other.

@kindasortasmart

Did you read anything other than the 34 ACT? If I could just submit that and not my transcript, I’d be golden at any school, sure, but my GPA is below 3, which means I’m probably gonna get deferred so they can see senior grades.

Of course I saw the gpa as well… that’s why I said I would cry if you were deferred b/c my gpa is like a 3.0 or 3.1 and I only have a 1270 SAT which is clearly way less than a 34 ACT.

I remember last year when D applied, the statuses were updated over the weekend, but last year they didn’t start updating until December 1. I think the admissions office depends on their student employees to go in and manually change the statuses from “evaluation” to “admitted”, so it seems that can happen at any time; last year someone said their status changed on a Sunday night at 9:00 pm. Also, last spring someone from Alaska posted that they were rejected, with a 34 ACT. So all of you were smart to apply early. My S applied, but his stats aren’t as good as his sister’s so we will see. Good luck to all of you!

Anyone get a status update today?

My son submitted his application on Friday, but we have not received any confirmation or password from Admissions…how long does this take?
thx.

My d applied back in September, and is still in evaluation. Her stats are 28 ACT, 1830 Sat, 4.35 wgps and 5/192 class rank living in Ohio. She is taking the SAT and ACT both again in the next two weekends. Ohio State is her dream school. I know of other kids that were deferred last year with ACT scores of 23 and 27 and then got in, so anybody’s guess is as good as mine. The wait is killing us though, I try not to talk about it at home. Good luck to all.

I have been on evaluation since early October. Ohio State is my dream school as well, i’m kinda nervous. I do think that we will find out by wednesday though, momtwo, because that is when they REALLY begin to release admissions. Right now I think they are admitting the “home-run” candidates first…

Well I hope to hear really soon. My d also has alot of extra curricular actvities, varisty cheer, varsity golf, part time job , clubs, plays and 4-h club for the past 9 years. I was hoping that all of that would be a plus also. It sure would be a big ease off of my mind and I’m sure of her’s to hear something (hopefully good) soon.

I applied to OSU early November, but I feel that I will not get in…Maybe I will? I REALLY dont want to go to a branch campus for my first year

3.1 UW, 3.5W

Edit** Woops! I thought I posted a new topic…my bad

Still habitualy checking my status page… Is evaluation the last step before accpetance/rejection?

i really cannot take this wait! i hope i know by december ughhh!

Me neither… wednesday cannot come any faster!

i’m going to try and not check my status until then! hahaha

Almost impossible cause lets just say they accept you tomorrow!!

haha true…this is not fun

Not at all… it would be easier if we knew we were getting in but realistically we are both kinda borderline lol
