As rolling decisions for CALS, ILR, and Hotel are coming out (first wave sent out Feb. 15) and people are starting to get their decisions, I thought it'd be helpful for everyone to start one of these.

Use this format for posting decisions.

pinstriped, congratulations....your stats are awesome. How did you hear, online or in the mail? And do you have any idea if you'll be attending?

Accepted!! OMG!! Just checked my home-page this morning and there it was!! CALS. Top 3% of my class. I'll post more later, I'm just too excited right now.

OldProf,
I applied regular decision and got my acceptance statement to CALS from my home-page today. Perhaps that indicates it is the first wave of RD decisions.

powderpuff congrats!!=D i just checked my Cornell page... but theres none... how does the rolling decision work? is it kinda the faster you applied, the faster you get the result stuff? Well... i applied just one day left to the deadline... that will hurt my chance? anyways CONGRATS TO ALL WHO GOT ADMITTED!!!:D

Thank you makeithi! I don't really know how the rolling admissions works for Cornell, though my application was complete by early October, 2006. I was shocked to see a decision on my home-page. I went there on a whim because there were some postings on CC about how does one find out about their acceptance status, then there it was!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

I logged into my home-page. It will say "Hello________, you are logged in"
right below that it says "Check your decision". Two spaces below that it says "check application status".
I'm kind of a quiet, superstitious person so I feel weird about sharing too much information about myself.
But, my stats do not match up to pinstripes, those were over the top!! Congrats to pinstripes.
My unweighted GPA is 3.75; Weighted is 4.8
Rank: top 3.7%
I'll have 9 AP's by the time of graduation, and I have received mostly A's in those classes.
My SAT's are good, but definitely not great. They are 650 and above. Never took the ACT.
I'm white, female, I'm from the south-east.
Of course, everyone thinks they had good essays. I think mine were good.
Hook>>I did a good job on the CALS essays and explaining why they were a great match for me and vice versa.

theoldprof - sorry if i confused you, these decisions are for RD. i was just hating myself for not applying to more ED and EA schools so i wouldnt have to sit through this agony right now lol
