omg awesome stats eventer31590! Does anyone know how frequent they send out these decisions? (Ex. Every Fridays, once in 2weeks etc) Or is it completely random?

i have a feeling that the 1st wave of applicants that get their decision are the most qualified ones...almost every acceptee so far has 2300+ SAT scores, and 4.0 GPA.

idk, i always thought that it would be related to when you got your application in, mine was in but i didnt pay until like 5 days before the deadline so it wasnt forewarded to CALS until then. Its prob a combo of the two--the canidates that they have no question they will admit and those they just get to first
thanks cherryblossom

for ILR people> I called up Cornell about a week ago and basically the person who heads admissions there has pneumonia. They didnt even have the first committee meeting yet and they will most likely not do rolling admissions this year.

I called today and they told me I need to send them my financial aid application, after I went through the trouble of copying all my parents tax returns, this is embarrasing. Now I probably won't get my letter till mid March. If you didn't do the aid thing yet, THEY WILL NOT PROCESS YOUR APP.

I got accepted to ILR and there is already a facebook group for accepted ILR students, so since that your phone call was a week ago, im not so sure that your assumption is correct.

That facebook group was started since the EDers got their acceptances

Wow I also got in to ILR haha. Just checked now. Got a likely from Duke though so I am probably heading there.

wow congrats

website or email?

Website. Didn't get an email (which is why I thought it wasn't up yet).

Did you check it earlier today?

No I did not. I didn't even think there was rolling admissions until someone corrected me. I just checked then and saw the "Congratulations" after pressing "Check your decision".

yup. agree with mahras

jaymz07 and mahras2, when did you guys turn in your Cornell ILR application?

I went to the 24 hr post office on 8th avenue on New Year's to hand in my app! I doubt the time you hand your app in has to do with the decision speed. However, I do expect that the sooner they have your app completed, the higher the chances of you hearing early.

i dont think that rolling decisions have anything to do with application turn in date
it's probably for 'clear admits'

and based on the stats ive seen, the applicants who got rolling decision are def clear admits

Where do we check our status online?
