Anyone know what the timeline was last year for in-state admits? Half of my friends have gotten letters (some with Honors, some not) and the other half, including me, zilch.

According to udel.edu, “we know you’re anxious to hear something. We will have decisions out in mid-March. In the meantime, check your status online, BUT please know that, due to the volume of materials we receive, we’re still working on completing all files. Don’t panic if you have sent us everything and the checklist says that we are still missing materials. Give us a little time to catch up and check your status online again. Thanks for your patience!”

Don’t worry, once you get in, all the trees of the field will clap their hands. clap clap clap

^That’s my favorite line ever from the Bible.

However, UD promised to get in-state decisions out by January, for those who applied by December 1.

so jealous that you guys at least get to hear back a month before OOS does :(

I got my decision today! Polisci major and honors!

Congrats. You’re in-state, I assume?

I’ve been accepted in-state as well, honors. Seems like they’re finally sending out the Common App in-state decisions (or so goes the theory, that earlier decisions were with the UD application).

for those of you who got in, did you receive your decisions online or in the mail?

By mail.

10char

My friend who is in-state never received her decision and everyone else had they said at max they’ll be done sending out decisions in 2-3 weeks. She was upset because she had applied for the priority before December 1st. So I’m pretty sure it doesn’t matter when you applied at this point.
