Rolling or not??

So I have been hearing a variety of things from people...is cornell rolling or not??

i know that for transfer applicants, it is.

Not rolling for undergraduate admissions.

It depends on the college, but not for ED. I know Ag definitely is:), and that is an undergrad school.

I am applying to hotel, is it rolling for that?

I don't know if hotel is rolling; I don't think so. i think its mainly the state schools.

Hi! My daughter is first year ILR. ILR is definitely rolling. She found out around 2/20 last year. I believe Hotel and Ag. are also rolling. I do remember 3 schools were rolling and the remainder were not. Human Ec. (state) is not rolling.

ok so for Ag the sooner u turn in ur app the sooner u find out?

is there a priority application deadline?? =\
i jus found out today!! do you think it's already pretty late to send in an app to ag?
ahhh..so worried. =(

AG, ILR, & Hotel are rolling! ...that's what it says in the site:
http://admissions.cornell.edu/apply/firstyear_timetable.cfm#reg

they are only rolling for RD

Hotel is rolling. A deferred applicant will become part of the RD applications. The RD applications are submitted on a rolling basis.

what does rolling mean?

is the engineering school rolling for RD??

No. Only the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, the Hotel School, and the School of Industrial and Labor Relations are rolling. Rolling means they will decide on applications as they come in and admit you if you meet a certain level. For rolling, it is better to submit an application as early as possible.

so does this mean we can find out b4 april and if it does how do they send out the aplications? by major? to the strongest applicants? or in the order they were recieved?

I'm a first year at CAS, and I know that both CAS and engineering are not rolling, although people do often get likely letters.

holy crap! I never realized this before but for these cornell rolling schools, does it mean that if I send it in now, its better than sending it on January 1st?

for cas, i didn't get a likely letter, but end-feb, beginning-march they did ask for my parent's taxes since they were doing my finaid. that's how i found out i got in before april 1st.

its rolling, but from february to april. i think you're safe if u hand it in January
