Its not Rolling anymore. Its early response , followed by Rolling Admissions.

www.umich.edu. - Theres a link to an article ' UMich adds Early Response....' on the first page , which explains everything.

so when is the earliest i can apply for just rolling then? the article wasnt very clear...

Why would you want to apply for Rolling:S?. You can submit your app for ER , in late August/Early September.

For Rolling, after the 30th of October , although Im not sure why you want to do that...

well if i do early, will i still be able to apply for yale's single choice early action?

Errrrrr...call UM or Yale about that. I doubt many people know since Early Response is new.

Christine , I think she'll still be eligibile for Yales ED admissions , because ER and ED are different. ED has the binding agreement , while ER doesnt.

However, Yale's EA program is single choice and non-binding, meaning she's only allowed to apply to one place early, although it's non-binding.

so is it possible for me to apply umich ER and let's say harvey mudd ED?

ER is pretty much like EA right? if you get rejected, you'll probably get deferred and get another chance at RD?

Why are you allowed to apply to only place if the admission is non binding:S?

I don't know. I guess it shows that you're really enthusiastic about a school, but it doesn't financially bind you.
