Roman Noodles

Is there something wrong with them?

Are they like uber unhealthy or no more worst than a candy bar?

I love Ramen noodles but I'm sure eating too much is not healthy, and they're too salty so I only put like half the powder stuff in them.

the meal is a steal at that price...love it

It's ramen, not roman. Roman noodles are known as "pasta". And yes, it's just junk food with absolutely no health value at all. It's good and convenient, but you better watch your intake.

tastes good, but not good for your health. and not real chinese food either. lol "roman noodles are known as pasta"

Roman noodles. That sounds good...

Ramen is bad for you if you use the entire packet. Just use some of it. Unless the noodles themselves are full of fat...?

there is msg in the ramen flavoring.... or so ive heard

Look at the second ingredient...it's some oil of some sort.

ahhh.... Ramen noodles..... pro - lunch in college for a week for $1.00

con - you'll have clogged arteries at 25 :O

The noodles are fried in oil and loaded with preservatives, which is why they can last pretty much forever. I don't think it's any worse than a McD burger though.

MSG enhances the flavor unless your sensitive to it. I see no problem with cheap food using it. Ramen Noodles are a truly stupendous invention. Convenient, long lasting, good tasting, and moderately nourishing. But as far as health is concerned. . . chuckles Just look at the package. They're high in sodium, saturated fats, carbohydrates, and additives whose names I can't find on Google.

what about carb free noodles!!! lol

You're not joking. I just don't understand what a low-carb bagel could even be. Nonetheless, they're sold in Dunkin Donuts.

LOL! ROMAN noodles! XD

Ramen Noodles are the best! But no, they're not good for you. :P

They must be good for you if you do some type of physical activity that requires endurance. Even normal macaroni isn't good for you if you sit around and do nothing. Which is exactly why the whole food pyramid is flawed, because there are too many carbs in the diet and too little exercise. Which is why they made the new pyramid (here's a pic if anyone is interested)

They are super cheap. By a bunch, but don't put the junk flavoring into the pot, instead, use ketcup, or maybe... yogurt? to top it off. Creativity is good, seriously.

It won't exactly tingle those taste buds, but it will definentely fill the belly.

Of course, you should do something with all that excess energy from the carbs. Try, you know, doing some of that moving stuff, maybe even actually doing some... exercise?

Sounds like a plan. A++

i still say go for the carb free noodles. they taste like cardboard:)

So would it be bad if I ate them every day for 6 weeks for lunch and dont exercise?

No, it would be really good for you. That's what Arnold Schwazenegger did and look how big he got to be!

haha... I love Ramen... I'm building up my love too so I can eat 2x a day in college.. Theyre pretty low in calories if thats what you mean by healthy. So, for my slimfast diet, theyre great. But for a normal healthy person, they'll prob kill you :(
