Hi i'm going to be a high school senior next year, and i'm really interested in languages. So i decide to major in romance languages in college.

initially i wanted to go to berkeley, but then i found that they do not offer a BA for romance languages, so i turned to Cornell, since they offer BA for romance languages.

Also i'm considering Sorbonne IV in France, since they have a good reputation for Humanities and Arts. however i just read a few posts here says that Sorbonne actually is much less competitive among the universities in France, and there are better ones such as Grandes Ecoles and Ecole Polytechnique, who i personally feel that they are actually for science programs.

Quite Frankly i want to study internationall business in Graduate School, which will be years laters.

I wonder if Cornell has a good foreign language department or not?
and does UW Seattle offer a BA for romance languages?

and i wonder Should I aim for Cornell or Sorbonne? Which one might prepare me better for the future? And are there any other good european colleges or universities that offer good language courses?

Thank you for the help, i really appreciate that :)
