I just started my senior year of HS today, and I still haven't decided which colleges I want to apply to.

I want to major in Romance language linguistics, specifically Spanish. I also want to study in Spain for as long as possible without actually enrolling in a Spanish school.

I live in Pennsylvania, and I'd prefer a school that relatively close, either in PA, NY, MD, NJ, or DE. Could someone recommend me some schools?

With regards to getting in, I'm a good student who takes honors and AP classes, and I tutor inmigrants in English outside of school. However, my family is lower-middle class, so we almost have to take advantage of financial aid. How should I begin the process?

start with one of the guide books such as the Fiske guide or Petersons Guide. Also if you search on the web you can find lots of info about study-abroad programs.

I forgot to mention that I don't want to go to a very religious school. I don't care if they have a religious affiliation, It's just that I'm an atheist and I don't want to be forced to go to church services.

So no schools like BJU or Oral Roberts or anything like that.

As for the above replies, those seem like good suggestions. I was actually looking at Arcadia because they seem to use their study abroad program as a main selling point.
