Romanian Female in International School

Im Romanian, and i go to an American International School in Romania.

My GPA 9-11 is probably around 3.5 unweighed, and 3.7 weighed.
I'm taking full International Baccalaureate Diploma, and an extra subject, which means i have 7 classes + Theory of Knowledge. My predicted grades are two 5s, two 6s and two 7s (max grade is a 7).

I hate math but i like languages, so im taking Romanian A1, Enlgish A1 (first languages), French and Spanish B (Second Languages).

My SATs in May were lame, but its because i havent prepared, so i have big plans for the ones in October (the SAT is only given twice per year in Romania) - so i had a 600 English (both, the one with writing too) and a 500 in Math (told you i hate math). I want to improve both to 700s.

My EC'c:
*NOTE - it took some while for me to adapt from Romanian school to the American School, so 9th grade i did almost nothing.

Is your school in Bucharest?

Cause if so, I know an english teacher at a bilingual school there.

my school is in Bucharest - theres a lot of international schools here.

bump.......

Oh, i wasn't aware of that. Its just that an english teacher from a school in bucharest taught at my school (in the U.S.) last year on an exchange program thing... Ms. Varzan?

ur ec's sound great! i was AMAZED. and u r only applying to 1 IVY? why?

i am from timisoara. :)
and i have 3 questions 4 u:
1. are the sat's here only twice/year???? realllly??????????
2. what is a GPA of 3.5 in grades from 1-10?
3. what are the A-levels?

i wish u the best of luck with the admission!!!!

The fact about the SATs being available only twice a year is wrong....maybe just in Bucharest but there are several other test centers around the country: Arad(major testing center), Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Baia-Mare and Timisoara(?).....
One would expect really high SAT scores for international students enrolled in an American all-english school!!!
Anyway...best of luck with admissions....

You have great ECs IMO...NYU probably a match
