I’m in the New Gibbons building and I wonder if my roommate could be on CC hmmmm…

herothydragon

unfortunately i cant check my housing yet (vaccine thing) but i’m in Douglass too. What is your PO box/mailing address is.

mine is 25768 Dpo Way

I’m on the second floor of New Gibbons A-1

My PO box/mailing address five digit number is different from yours oleosmirf.
I’m on New Gibbons B-1…how did you know what floor you are on RUTransfer? By the room number?

Yeah, I’m judging by the room number.

i didn’t think po boxes had anything to do with housing assignments, but maybe i’m wronggg…

rpo = college ave
dpo = douglass
lpo = livingston
bpo = busch

i meant like the mailbox number in correlation with roommates and dorms. i should have been more clear.

i’m on New Gibbons A-2

I’m in New Gibbons A-1

Is the number your building or floor? I’m confused now.

i have no idea how New Gibbons works. Ive heard its coed but does anyone know how its broken up???

it it like building A is guys and building B is girls or do they do it by floor b/c at my old school I lived in an all male wing and it was terrible…

i thiiiiink they split it up by floor, not entirely sure. i’ve only been there once, but i remember seeing just all girls on one floor, and all guys on another, with only a handful of people on each floor. it’s a really chill place to live, with parties and such (although they tend to get broken up) and since it’s where the mason gross kids live, there’s always like people jamming in the lounges. the lounges are also really nice, nice dorms and everything. i’d want to live there.

yea i tried looking for a New Gibbons 09-10 group on facebook but couldnt find any. from last year’s group i’ve noticed that the girls and guys are on different floors where the girls are on floors 1 and 3 and guys on 2nd floors.

That’s less than ideal (especially considering my floor last year was 40 something girls and 12-16 guys), but I suppose it could be worse.

i went to IU for 1 year and i had the worst dorming experiences. I got placed in a special interest building by mistake. Most of the people there were art, drama, theater, and music majors. Guys and girls were completely seperate and many of the guys (including my roommate and 3 others that I knew of on my floor) were extremely openly homosexual. Everyone either played video games or sat in their rooms playing music all semester. No partying, no hanging out, no socializing. It was terrible.

I just hope everyone is social and down to have a good time. Speaking from experience, Its no fun when you have a quiet and antisocial building…
