<p>So I was looking on a quick chart on the Rutgers website Rutgers</a> Admissions | How Much is Tuition? and it states that room and board is $11,412. Is this just the room cost+ the meal plan? Because I found that the dorm I would be staying in is $7,042 and the meal plan I would use is $2,185 which together, would only add up to $9,227. </p>
<p>Is the $11,412 just an estimate? Or does it include fees other than the costs for residence and a meal plan?</p>

<p>Which meal plan is that? The one that I see for 2185, is “per semester”…so that would be about 4400 per year. </p>

<p>The 210 plan offers an average of 14 meals per week. This is a good plan for students whose schedules may not allow time for breakfast, but who want to eat lunch and dinner each day, plus a few weekend or late night meals.</p>
<p>that’s a rather typical frosh plan…2 meals a day.</p>
