<p>How do you know if you are going to get a room with AC? Is it totally random via the lottery or do I specify AC vs. non-AC rooms?</p>
<p>You can only get guaranteed A/C if you have certain medical conditions. In that case, you can either be placed in an A/C dorm or a regular dorm with a separate A/C unit installed by your window. If you don't have medical problems, it's random whether or not you get A/C.</p>
