<p>Does anyone know when room assignments come out for Freshman?</p>
<p>They have been out for a few weeks. The housing department said if you haven’t received an assignment yet, you were denied housing due to limited space. </p>

<p>My son’s priority number is 403 so I’m pretty sure he will get housing.</p>

<p>Housing’s official word right now (honestly, DO NOT trust much on their website, because I’ve found they are amazing slow at updating it) is that they will mail everything out around the first week of July. </p>
<p>They have been extremely slow this year, and incorrect on many different things, though, so who knows. For all we know, they might actually mail out everything in a couple weeks, since they have the assignment check website down right now for them to fulfill Freshman assignments, and it’s supposed to be back up in “mid-June”</p>

<p>Haha, my bad Sid I didn’t pick up on it. Very true about the website, its been wrong a lot. I’m not going to complain if they tell us about housing before when they have posted!</p>
<p>Along these lines… my son was accepted to one of the Living Learning Communities (Cawthon/Music). So since it’s already past the date for accepting/declining admission to the LLC’s, do assignments for these come out before the conventional dorms? Or do they just hold them all till the same time?</p>

<p>He will find out at the same time. He at least knows what dorm he will be in, but the specific room and his roommate will be released at the same time as everyone else’s assignment info.</p>
<p>Just got an email with my housing assignment (I’m a new transfer). Amazing considering it’s still May. However, if it matters, I’m a non-traditional student so, they probably got through those sooner than the big pile of traditional forms.</p>
