<p>Does anyone know why they can't assign you a room until move-in day. Do they assign them based on first come first serve? How does it work?</p>

<p>last year for some reason, i went onto bearfacts in august and under "local address" it printed my dorm address with my room number and that's when i first knew my room number.</p>
<p>they said that they dont have that info available though! why would they say that if they have it!?</p>
