Summer room assignments are up. D got in Nike single room, which was second choice. Looks good though!

Thanks! I just checked the site for D and she got her first choice, a shared room in Nike with another girl she met and chose as her preference.

I have been assigned to a double Nike-- my second choice.

How do I know what floor I am on by the room number?

Same here, got double room nike. The first number of your room is the floor youre on.

I have the 3rd floor then. How many floors are there in Nike?

i think it depends on the building. which building you in?

it says i have nike 104-101D. that means?

I’m pretty sure that means you are in Nike Building 104, Room 101 Bed D

Yes Rachel, you have a single in Nike building 104, room D. My daughter was in Nike 106, apt. 106 C last year.

http://www.housing.ucf.edu/communitiesfloorplan.php?community=av&ID_floorplans=04

BTW Rachel, the D room is the 10 X 10’9 room on the end of the hall. I think it had the best floorplan of the four!

D is in Nike 103, second floor. Will the other 2 dormmates also have the same room number but different numbered beds? D’s bed is A2 and her roommate is A1.

The Nike Community consists of residence halls 101-103 and apartment buildings 104-107.

The Hercules Community consists of residence halls 108-110 and apartment buildings 111-114.

Ohh, nice room RachelUCF13!!

Seiclan- Thanks for the info! D is in Nike 106, apt. is 211D. We were wondering which side D was on! Hope she gets this lucky with her Fall housing.

Ohh, nice alongwait! For Fall, D put down one preference, Lake Claire Apartments with her Summer roommate. Neither one of them put down a second choice, wonder how that will work out.

D put Lake Claire as her first choice too. She got accepted later though, so I think she is further back on the priority list. Confirmation date for Fall was Feb 5th. Told her about your D, coming from NJ and she would be excited to meet her. We are from the Jersey Shore too (Monmouth County), just transplants to Orlando. She is also going to try to sign up for Cinema Survey.

How nice, alongwait. What orientation is she going to? We will be flying out of Atlantic City on June 23rd. D will be attending Orientation on June 25th and 26th. D’s graduation is June 19th, so she barely has any breathing room before she has to report to UCF, but she is super excited and cannot wait!

Is your D going to Rush? My D is thinking about it and is going to plan on being back in Orlando, in her dorm early, on August 17th for Rush Week. I told her to stay in Florida but she wants to return for the 10 days and say her goodbyes again to her friends. She’s been friends with most since kindergarten.

My daughter went through sorority recruitment last year and is a happy sorority girl now. I highly recommend joining!!!

D is going to the June 15-16 orientation. The ones before it interfered with graduation practice and then graduation…which are at UCF. She mentioned going to Rush but isn’t sure, although I have the feeling that she will. We fly in and out of AC all the time. Great deals to MCO, so at least that may be helpful with the visiting back home. Glad to have you here Seiclan. You have answered alot of questions for us new moms.

i got a good room? Yay! Thanks lol

My S got his summer assignment… Hercules 108 - 108-310A2 and has 1 roommate who is from Florida.
