Does Nike have a community kitchen on each floor? I heard that some housing communities at UCF have this, for those not living in an apartment style dorm.

I found this info:

Looks like Libra has a shared kitchen

Libra: [UCF Housing and Residence Life | Our Communities](http://www.housing.ucf.edu/communitiesdetail.php?community=libra)
There is also a common kitchen area that students may use by request of the residence life staff.

I did not find such information when looking online at Nike and Hercules housing information.

Thanks JSM. I have read everything there is to read on the website previously… so I know all that information. That is why I am asking for those who have attended because the website is so vague.

During a tour of the housing at UCF I remember that there is a large community kitchen for ALL of the Nike buildings to share, so if you really wanna cook something you can. But it didn’t seem like an easy access kinda thing since you probably couldn’t leave anything in the fridge, because somebody would eat it! lol

That is what I thought Rachel, I just wanted to double check. That is actually exactly what I want. I will be bringing my own fridge, so that won’t be a problem. I just really wanted a place to cook and bring it back to my room. Thats great to hear!

I just noticed that the PO Box number (your mailing address at UCF) is listed under Housing Assignment on MyUCF.

Any experience shipping packages to the PO number? I know NOT to ship until 1 week before you are scheduled to arrive, but will it be ok to send packages (big and small) to D throughout the summer?

Also D will be in Nike, is this how it’s addressed, do I need to put Nike in there somewhere?

Thanks.

The procedure for sending packages is different than for sending letters. You cannot send packages to the student’s mail box, instead you send them to the community mail center. You address them like this:
[UCF Housing and Residence Life | Postal Information](http://www.housing.ucf.edu/current/postalinfo.php?page=address)

I send my daughter packages all the time and she has never had an issue.

Thanks seiclan for directing me to that page!

Does anyone know where the Nike kitchen is at?

Nike

How good a room is this? =)

When I went there, I believe the Nike Kitchen was…

It’s at the end of the path you see on your right.

I’m in 102… its nice.

I just got back from todays classes and I am still waiting on a textbook advance so that I can get my books. It has been a long day today and it is only 2:30.

Moksha - Is it in one of the Nike buildings, or is it by itself? Is there a sign on the door or something? Also, do you know what building number is of the building straight ahead?

From my memory, I believe it was a screen door and it seemed connected with the building. I’m not at UCF yet though Waiting for August still.

How about laundry? Where are the washers and dryers at (Nike)?

I would look around, but I won’t be on campus until tomorrow night… I went home for the weekend.
