<p>if it doesn’t show any other names, then maybe you are in a room where the spots haven’t been released yet.</p>
<p>*I’m now with all freshmen in Ridgecrest West, and I’m very happy about the change. (: I’ll keep checking in case a room pops up in Ridgecrest South North, but if not, I’m okay. (:</p>

<p>Bythe way, Momreads’ son is one of the freshmen we were able to meet when visiting, along with his girlfriend. Simple charming, busy, people. It is such a pleasure to be with these young folk who promise to be movers and shakers in this world yet take time out to help others!</p>

<p>Montegut, I was able to get on room selection Tuesday afternoon around 1:15 eastern time. My son was shut out of honors housing on Monday so for the heck of it I tried at an off time and it worked. I searched for about 45 minutes with only Paty showing up and then 2 rooms in one suite in Lakeside West were available. I picked one for him and then sent a PM to a CCer who was also looking. By the time I did that and checked for the confirmation e-mail the room selection was closed. It was almost as if when I selected a room it woke someone up in housing who realized a room had been selected at an off time and they shut it off. He only has 2 roommates listed so there is still a room available but it doesn’t show up for selection.
I just wanted to thank everyone here for all their information and insight. We are from Connecticut and Alabama would NEVER have been on our radar screen without everything we learned here about scholarships, the honors college etc.</p>
