S-Riverside W 3rd floor

Son is at Ridgecrest South North

Ridgecrest West third floor.

Ridgecrest West-3rd floor

Mike, why do you think Ridgecrest South, North Tower, is not all honors?

For boys, nothing but Paty available still.

S Lakeside West 2nd floor. Sounds like he’s an oddball on CC!!!

because i got ticked off at the lousy answers i was getting from housing, I sent an email to three housing non-peons.

so according to alicia browne only 3 floors of RCSN are honors. NEWS TO ME!!! she said 1 - 3 are honors and 4-5 are mixed. but she said if an honors student were to get on 4 or 5 that they would NOT be considered to be in honors housing with regard to future honors housing. ***?? i think this is BS, but my DD is on 1 and may not be able to switch again, so it may not matter.

i told her that according to all published info, RCSN was listed as honors.

that’s the short version.

montegut - are you still without an honors room? i thought you were all set a long time ago?

montegut - Just wanted to send you my best wishes in your search. I know the frustration. My son hasn’t even checked to see if his roommates are freshmen, he’s just glad to have an honors room, and veterans will be a good source of information. If anything opens in his room will let you know.

i think montegut’s S has a room in a suite with a roomie of his choosing. maybe montegut was just looking for curiosity and to pass on info.

Son is in Lakeside West first floor. I’m glad he’s not the only one Bamafan!

Montegut’s son is in honors housing. She may be just looking to move him and a friend.

so according to alicia browne only 3 floors of RCSN are honors. NEWS TO ME!!! she said 1 - 3 are honors and 4-5 are mixed. but she said if an honors student were to get on 4 or 5 that they would NOT be considered to be in honors housing with regard to future honors housing*

I wonder if this is because last year they had so many open suites on those floors that they opened them to non-honors and many of those kids are returning to those rooms this fall…so they had to designate them as “mixed”.

idk if that is the reason or not. but i would think if you were an honors student and you wanted honors housing and landed on 4 or 5 that that WOULD be considered “honors” housing with regard to your future housing requests. if not, that is messed up, especially since all info points to RCSN as being honors!

also, according to the website, most of RCS is freshman, from what i can tell, so it doesn’t seem like the place where lots of returning students would end up.

why would they have had open rooms in RCS last year? this year, it seems like that is the one most people want!
