Thank you so much! Do you know how to distinguish between the floors? I’m assuming 01xx is first floor, 02xx is second, ect., can anyone confirm that?

JTownatp, you are correct that 01xx is the first floor, 02xx is the second floor, etc. Note that the actual room numbers for most residence halls do not include the leading zero, so 1xx is the first floor, 2xx is the second floor, etc.

what about the 05xx suites in RCS? i don’t think there is a 5th floor?

Both towers of RCS have a fifth floor.

bamagirls -
Tried to send you a PM and it wouldn’t let me? is your box full :)

Going live in five minutes looking for something in Riverside for our honors engineering son; we love the proximity to the Science and Engineering Center. Roll Tide.

try again Crimson

xcitfan- Can you give an update on availability in Riverside?

There seemed to be a large number of spaces in the Riverside complex; good luck, everyone. Our son will be in Riverside West. The overall housing process at UA seems well managed, fair, and efficient. We love this school!

:) ^^^ I agree. :)

We just switched from Riverside West to Riverside East for slightly better access to the engineering and dining facilities due to a PM we received. Good luck everyone. Lots of spaces available in both buildings.

Can you share the reason for changing from Riverside West to Riverside East?

Ok, so I’m freaking out that DS has his room selection on the last day, Thursday the 26. With 2 more selection days before he even gets a crack at it, will he get a decent honors room? He had someone try to pull him into a suite in Ridgecrest South but there weren’t any rooms with enough space.

^^I think all of the honors rooms are “decent.” And from what has been posted on here by folks from housing, it sounds like there’s a very good chance that everyone who wants an honors room will eventually get one. I wouldn’t spend too much time worrying.

Relax mama. The other buildings will be fine even if the RC buildings happen to fill before then.

Proudmama, I am in the exact same boat. I am freaking out, but DD doesn’t seem to be too worried at all. Keep hoping she will find a roomie who will pull her in sooner, but she sure hasn’t made an effort. I know they will have space for our kids, we just need to keep breathing and hope they end up with great other kids. I can only beg/whine so much. Good luck!
