Room selection

Hi,
I've been trying to do a search on whether room selection affects financial aid, but I haven't been able to find anything.
Apparently schools will award more money if you live on campus, but does it also matter if you decide to live in a single, double, or triple room?
My EFC is currently 0 and will continue to be for next year although I paid full tuition for the previous two years. What I am hoping for through my room selection decision is to receive a financial aid refund to use for books and other personal expenses.
Any info is appreciated, thanks!

In this case, it really sounds as if you need to contact the financial aid office at your school. I can understand a school offering more/less financial aid depending upon whether one lives on/off campus. Have you lived off campus the past two years? If you live on campus the cost is generally higher than living at home which “may” result in more financial aid. The extra financial aid would be needed to pay the expense of the dorm.
