Roomate over Room

How much weight does putting roomate over room have on your application. Both my room mate and I submitted our housing application and payment the day we were accepted. We applied to Hulabaloo (im sure housing here will be very competitive). How will my chances be hurt by putting room mate over room? Ive heard that the latest payment received is the date that is used for your application, but will actually being placed in Hulabaloo be harder since i chose room mate first. We were accepted as automatic admission students in early september.

You might want to call housing on that question, they have just changed the housing priority system for next year.(it is new). What happened in the past may or may not be true - your best bet is to call and ask.
