<p>I got an email a while ago inviting me to find a room mate using Roombug, an app on facebook. Does anybody know when I need to have my room mate found by?</p>

<p>"How does roommate selection work?</p>
<p>If you know that you want to be roommates with one or more students (depending upon whether your room is a double or triple, etc.), then you can place a hold on any remaining space(s) in the room. You will need the GatorLink username or UFID number of the potential roommate(s) in order to place a hold. You can only hold space for a roommate who has a valid housing contract for Fall 2010. Once a hold is placed, the other roommate(s) will be permitted to select the held space by the end of the next day. If the held space is declined or not accepted by the end of the next day, then the roommate hold will be removed. "</p>
<p>If you find a roommate and they’ve already selected a room, then select the space next to them, if its already taken, then move to another room.</p>
<p>"What if I select a room and then change my mind?</p>
<p>You will be able to change rooms as many times as you like until August 1, 2010 or you are billed for housing (whichever comes first). Bills will be generated for students who have selected their room on July 1, 2010. If you do not have an assignment at that time, you will be able to continue browsing for available space until August 1, 2010 when the room selection process is closed. If there are no available spaces when you attempt to select a room, you will need to check back and select a room at a later date. If you do not select a room by the deadline, you will be manually assigned to a space."</p>
