rooming assignments

Anyone know that the RU-0507A- dorm looks like??

I didn't even know that building existed. Rotflmfao, holy ****.

Yeah, it's a new one apparently. I'm going to see if there is any way I could possibly cancel. When I signed up for housing, the option of having to live there wasn't even available - if I'd have known that there was a possibility I'd be living there, I wouldn't have signed up.

There's no such thing as the livingston building.
Im in rubin 0513 anybody know about that room? LCT or not?

WOULDN'T you know if you had a LCT in Rubin by the price you are charged?

My son is in 1003A rubin with 2 other roommates, but we have been charge the higher Rubin rate, not the LCT.

There must be larger rooms that also hold 3-5 people??

Cause if I find out he's in a LCT, I will expect a change in my housing costs

Last2 aren't you a sophmore? How are you in Rubin?

The price will tell you whether you are in an LCT or not.

i don't know if 0513 is A LCT, but according to Rubin's wikispaces page, 0512 is.

MACKIE can you post the rubin wiki link??

never mind, found it

Sueinphilly, I am in the same situation as your son. I was charged at the higher rate and was placed into a triple sharing a bathroom with other four people (two people in the other room which connected with ours. I guess they will adjust the rate later.

Anyone has the floor plan of Rubin?

foxwolf,

The rooms are not meant for only 2 people if it's not a LCT. The LCT is supposed to be a smaller room. The website says there are rooms for 2-5 people. so just because there are 3 in a room, doesn't mean it's a LCT.

I bet there are very few rooms with only 2 people. anybody??

Sueinphilly, that is a good point. How do I know whether I am in LCT or not? Thanks!

if your housing charge is $4300 for the semester, you are not in a LCT, supposedly.

26th street...i thought i heard it was one of the least liked dorms =( was my last choice, but oh well i'll have to make it work

you cannot request a two person room. you can only not request low cost housing, which are the smaller triples, but you cant have a say one way or the other whether you have a regular sized triple or double, unless there is some medical reason i suppose.

does anyone know what the -04A rooms are like in Rubin? ive heard they are very large triples, but where are they in the building and what do they face (views??)? any info appreciated.

if you are in a three person room, and not LCT, then you are in one of the rooms that has a connection to it and is thus larger than the normal rooms. I don't know why you would complain about those rooms or want to move. they are awesome. and quite nice.

I;ve found info. on almost every room except the -07 ones.

Hi Lindseygs,
Do you know if these rooms have three single beds or bunk beds. Thanks!
