Do you have info on -10B?

livingston is a graduate student building.. are you a grad student?

-10B is a good setup. It's a triple but it's pretty big and its in the south west corner of the building so you get a pretty good view as your window will be looking down West 10th street. This all of course, depends on what floor you're on. residential floors are 3-17 with 13 omitted. The higher you are the better the view.

Yep, I'm a grad student. I guess since it's a new building (well the building's not new, it's new NYU property) no one has any info on it yet?

I think the reason why so many people were put in triples is because there's a surplus of freshmen this year... they tried to squeeze as many people as possible into the freshmen dorms and then had to put about 200 in Palladium, Coral Towers, Carlyle Court, and Lafayette. Apparently, they even had to revoke some transfer students' admission until next semester. That's what I gathered, anyway, from some of the facebook discussion boards.

Anyway, anyone have any idea which way an -01 room in Uhall faces?

ahahahahahahahahahah, that's hilarious

i have a question my roommate is gay but im not. is this common/normal?

Yes. One of my roommates last year was gay.

o ok. but were ur suite mates gay also?

Does it matter?

foxwolf...i don't know how the beds will come, but there is plenty of room to debunk if one of them happens to be bunked. you can debunk in pretty much any room.

why would they put fresh. in lafayette? they shouldn't put them in a building that isn't within walking distance of campus. that stinks for those guys. are you sure they put people in lafayette?

i just want to kno if i put down the wrong thing down myself on housing cause mine are or if it was just luck

how did you guys figure out your roommate/suitemates? i just looked on the housing form, and it just had my dorm assignment and room "code"

maybe you're in a single...what does it actually say???

is it possible to have nyu loft my bed???

I saw a loft setup in 3rd North. Never anywhere else. I know we couldn't do it in rubin. You don't really need to. There's enough space no matter where you live.

I'm a transfer and I got my last choice, 26th Street. But it's a single, so I'm pretty happy.

Yeah, there are definitely some freshmen in Lafayette. Most aren't too happy with it, obviously. (I was thinking that those put in the Union Square ones didn't have as much to complain about, especially ones in Palladium, but being put in Lafayette with a bunch of upperclassmen -- some don't have freshman roommates -- really sucks.)

yup..one girl is an a room full of juniors :-/

I heard alot of stories of freshman being put in union square dorms... sucks for them as they are missing out on living on a freshman floor their first year. They will have to be very outgoing to meet people their own age.
