i would really like to live in a triple--but also in a upper or lower apartment. but it says on the website that triples are only in residence halls, and upper/lower apartments are for doubles and singles only. I called the guy at UCSD's housing office and all he could tell me was that 65% of people this year will be in triples. I am thinking that since UCSD have alot of students this year, maybe some of the Upper/Lower aprments will be converted to triples? So essentialy people can live in a triple in the Upper/Lower apartments? I know that last year they converted way more doubles to triples, did they do that in the Upper/Lower apartments?

Thanks!!!

Did you post this in the UCSD forum? I doubt anyone here would know the answers to your questions.

nobody responded in teh UCSD section. btw are you in marshall?

I'm sorry, you WANT to live in a triple? As in, you're looking forward to the possibility? WHY???? I have one roomie, and as well as things have worked out this year, I'm looking forward to the year ending and getting my privacy back.

Besides that, I can't hep because I don't know sqaut about UCSD.

i live in a triple and space-wise it's alright. my roommates...not so much, but thats another issue completely. but you want to live in a triple bad enough that you'd live in a double size room as a triple? think about that--they're putting 3 people in a space designed for 2, and probably a cramped 2 at that depending on how much stuff you have.

i dont go to UCSD but i'm looking forward to my 4-bdrm apartment next year to get my privacy back
