<p>If you sign up for reassignment and there isn’t any room in the other buildings, are you guaranteed your original dorm back? And if my roommate and I want to change buildings together, do we both have to sign up for reassignment or just one?</p>
<p>It’s difficult for you both to move dorms and stay together. I would call it impossible, and you’d have to talk to somebody at DHFS directly and not just use the online form.</p>

<p>Your best bet is to schedule a meeting in person, with a plan already in place. But since you are just trying to move dorms, unless you can find another room whose occupants want to swap with you, it’s really not going to happen.</p>
