Roommate is a sophomore

My roommate is a sophomore, and I'm only a freshman. I'm not feeling too good about this. Has anyone here experienced the same situtation? How should I go about with it?

You should lift weight over the summer so you can pWn his a$$.

I have had a friend who has an older roomate and he said it was a good experience. I think if you don't think too much about it, everything will work out.

Luckily if you become good friends with the elder he will show to his older friends, and it will only get better.

Lots of people explode, saying it "robs you of the college experience." I think that's ridiculous. He'll be able to show you around the school, you'll meet his friends, etc. This is assuming he's a nice guy. He might be an *. But you could get an * freshman, too; it's all a crapshoot. Haha.

I don't see how its a bad thing....

I've never seen how this was a bad thing either. I think it would've been really nice to have someone built in to show me around and introduce me to people last year. I am rooming with a friend this year, who is also a sophomore, but we are going to be sharing a bathroom with girls next door who are most likely going to be freshmen. I hope they'll let me do that for them!

derek this is a good thing. the sophomore can show ya around and introduce you and you'll be hooked up instantly
