Roommate is extremely sick

Hey guys,

My roommate has both the Norwalk Virus ** and ** Strep and he's super contagious and has been sporting a fever over 103. He's puking basically once an hour or more and he was told not to be in close contact with others.

Our school had an overflow in housing this year and we double in a room that's meant to be a single, so we're in "close contact."

Since he's supposed to be contagious for 72 hours, I'm wondering if I should be sleeping somewhere else or not hanging out in my room in general? And what should I do with my stuff when he gets better incase it got infected?

Thanks in advance, I never thought of something like this coming up.

You probably shouldn’t be in the same room. Lol.

Yeah, definitely spend the next couple days in a different room… hopefully, you didn’t already catch anything!

And when you return…wash everything soft, wipe down surfaces with Clorox wipes or something similar, and go crazy with disinfectant.
