I don't want to make a big deal about this, but can someone give me a justified explanation for this?

Huh? What are you talking about?

hahahaha.....

Are you saying they do this? Because I doubt they do...

ok, i had an azn roommate at orientation. all the other azns did to. and I checked all the names posted on the doors. and another azn from an earlier session also had an azn roommate.

i only say this because it seems like too much a coincidence.

I have an asian roommate and i'm white...

I'm Asian and I have a white roommate. Oh my.

i'm asian and my roommate is jewish...go figure. and at orientation my roommates were both white.

hmmm...ok, maybe it was a coincidence, but i swear all the azns were put together at my orientation lol

I know what you mean.

When I went to Dartmouth and WashU, they put me (and all the rest of us) with black students. I guess its supposed to make us feel more comfortable...since we all live in the ghetto right!?

........

I think its pretty stupid....I mean, college is about integration baby.....so find your nearest person of "not the same color as you" and make merry!

KB

During my orientation, it was me (paki muslim) with another paki muslim with a white guy, haha

During orientation I was with another Chinese dude too hehehe...but I think actual housing is more objective...maybe the orientaton leaders decided how orientation roommates would be assigned?

i also have a roommate of asian origin....but i dont think that should make much of a difference....

Asian, white roommate, :P

asian, white roomie
