roommates

Ladies and gentlemen, funniness is no longer allowed as it’s a universal cop-out.

I’m terribly sorry that I didn’t post a follow-up echoing your sentiments and eulogizing your noble principles. How dare I do anything but validate your opinion!?

At my school it isn’t hard at all to move to another room/hall/building after the first month or so.

I’m the person the OP said has a crazy roommate who doesn’t even BELIEVE we’re roommates.

I’m just going to deal with it. If she’s as bad as she seems, well, that means I have my fridge all to myself, and don’t need to worry about someone borrowing my clothes. Unless she may do it out of spite.

I was worrying about it a lot, but I’m guessing a room change isn’t too impossible. In any case, there are tons of things you can do–use your roommate only for immediate necessities (aka sleep)/pull off pranks on her until she begs for a room change.

Ha, she’s going to hate me more than I’m going to hate her. This should be fun.

Seriously, OP, many problems can be resolved and mended temporarily using compromises to get through the semester/year. I mean, seriously, it’s a pain to move everything once you’ve unpacked it all… especially if it’s in another dorm across the campus!

Yeah, this is pretty much how most of my friends/floor mates resolved conflicts. It can be messy, but it’s a great solution.

I would have probably preferred th a girl roommate truth be told. And no not for romantic or sexual reasons, I just tend to get along very well with girls and, few exceptions aside, they’re pretty clean when it comes to personal hygiene (which is the one form of cleaning I really care about).

I had a bodybuilder roommate a while back. He would just sex-grunt while leaving weighs and empty protein powder bags everywhere. Smelled like death and would masturbate everywhere. Never when I was around but you’d come in to find balled up kleenexes on the table, sofa, toilet. ****.

i only have a few guy friends who I would see myself living with.
