<p>How are students notified of their roommate assignment? Is it done by mail or email? My daughter is getting really anxious!!</p>
<p>Quite sure it was an e-mail last summer. Make sure she is checking her new Wake Forest e-mail regularly - that is the most typical way they will communicate with her - not much comes by snail mail.</p>
<p>Thanks rockvillemom. She checks that thing fifty times a day!! She saw that she was assigned Collins dorm on her account, but then read that it doesn’t necessarily mean that is the dorm you are in. She, like everyone, just wants to know!!</p>

I think roommate assignments will be coming out either later this week or next week. Last year they got them around the 16th</p>

<p>D’s bill had her assigned to collins, then that was subtracted, and a new charge entered for Bostwick.</p>
<p>S’s bill also says Bostwick. Is that true that it may change?</p>
<p>My daughter’s bill also says Bostwick, and it hasn’t changed. I do think Housing has published info saying the assignments are not final yet - so I guess they could still change like merryecho’s. I think it is very odd how so many on this forum are supposedly in Bostwick when it is the smallest freshman dorm (I think…). If everyone remains in Bostwick, maybe we will meet at Move-In :)</p>

I will the frustrated mom who has brought along her son to help his little sister move in and that son is convincing your son and others on the guys side of the dorm to play football or basketball while parents do all the work:). He will be a junior at Boston College this year - any chance ‘bc’ in your name stands for that???</p>
<p>My husband was so sick of my daughter whining about not knowing that he called Wake today and they told him that they “think it’ll be the end of next week”!!!</p>

yes, son is baseball player who was deciding between bc and wake. we know quite a few bc kids from his high school. both excellent schools. happy he choose wake (bc baseball coach just left to go to ND).</p>

<p>Are there still people whose bill still says estimated for housing? I saw that South is listed now but my bill hasn’t changed.</p>
<p>bcjack, your son is playing varsity baseball? I would guess that he may be paired with one of the other baseball freshmen - they tend to do that with the athletes.</p>
