Roosevelt CCPA versus Wright State

I am trying to decide between both of these schools. I have been accepted into Roosevelt and I am still waiting on Wright. What are the pros and cons of both schools? I loved Wright State's program when I went to the master class. I don't know as much about Roosevelt and how well it prepares and helps you get opportunities for careers after graduation. Roosevelt only has a showcase in Chicago whereas, Wright has one in NY. Does that make a huge difference?

Any comments would be so helpful!

I’m not sure where Wright State is, but watch out for the schools that say they have showcases in New York. There are only one or two school who take everyone to NY… most of the class is usually left behind (I know BoCo takes everyone since Ny is a short train ride away).
I go to Roosevelt and when we asked the faculty why we didn’t have a showcase in NY they told us that they believed in all of our talent, not just a select few. We have a showcase in Chicago, which can definitely hook you up with agents that get you work in NY and LA, and also, this year, the seniors are raising money and they have gotten enough support that they will have another showcase in NY this Spring!!
I’ll e-mail you… give me a second

I don’t know that I would base my selection solely on a school having or not having (or WHERE) they’re having their showcase. My D auditioned at Wright State. We really like this school and we think they do have a good program. She attended the Master classes but we also visited there last year and we sat in on an MT acting class and a dance class. We know someone (a friend of my D) who attends Roosevelt and she seems very happy there. We know a couple of people who have attended WS and loved it there too. Gather as much information about both programs you can, talk to as many people that have first hand knowledge as you can such as chicagobutterfly (above), compare the curriculum and other factors such as the campus location, size, cost, financial aid & scholarship packages, & anything that’s important to YOU, etc. before you make your final decision.
