Hey, I’m going to be a senior this year and will very soon be auditioning for several BFA programs. I was just wondering if anyone has any good info on CCPA at Roosevelt University, like how selective they are, what kind of people they look for, how “prestigious” it is, etc. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'll be a freshman at CCPA this year...and though I can't tell you everything, I think they took about 36 people...they told us around 800 auditioned, but those numbers could be false. The staff is EXTREMELY nice and very helpful, so you could always go to the ccpa website (ccpa.roosevelt.edu) and e-mail Sean Kelley. He's the freshman acting teacher and quite a fun guy to talk to.

so they are very selective? what is the talent level there? Broadway tony winner? i was just wondering what to expect to be up against? and what is the dancing audition like????

Roosevelt is very selective. I don't have the numbers off the top of my head but it is as selective as any other BFA program of its size.

I didn't have to dance at my audition because I auditioned in L.A. but from what I heard it was pretty simple.
