Roosevelt University: New Class of 2015

On their Admission page, it listed that the university had admitted her and was just waiting on CCPA. It stayed that way until CCPA had made their decision. It said, “Admit OK. Waiting on CCPA.”

I know most here are MT majors, any word on when they will be doing the Music Comp letters?

Unfortunately, it wasn’t a big YES, but the word ‘waitlisted’ isn’t all that bad… any idea how many are on that very list and/or what sort of chance us hopefuls have? FINGERS CROSSED! (and huge congrats to all of you!) :)

So I still havint heard anything.
On my online app it says under Application Status “Decision Made”
But under Decision it says “incomplete Admit”
Any input?

There are 3 people from off the waitlist in the current freshman class.

So some people still haven’t heard yet?

MTBoy15: That’s what my daughter’s online app says – Incomplete Admit – and she got an “accepted” email last week! I just assumed that “incomplete” meant she had not accepted their offer yet.

I hope this means good news for you! Let us all know!

I have heard that decisions will come out by the end of the month.

I called today and they said that they had sent me an acceptance email on March 11th…
TO THE WRONG EMAIL ADDRESS.
HAHA.

Oh, well. Now I know!

Does anyone know how many they accept?

Congrats, MTBoy15!

I already received the acceptance email, however I have not yet received any letter in the mail… Which is rather disappointing :frowning:
Can anyone tell me what’s up with that?

Maybe they only send out papers to those that actually accept their offer. My D has not received anything in the mail either, however, she has not replied with her answer either.

S received the e-mail on 3/4, but still hasn’t received anything in the mail. He also hasn’t received financial aid info, although the admissions office has said that they’re working on it…

Finally received my acceptance letter! So excited now.

Congrats to all. S is very excited about his MT acceptance, too! Is anyone a transfer Sophomore or can tell us how it works? Do they simply blend into the class? And has anyone received any financial aid info other than scholarship award?

Abbygirl–I’m pretty sure they do simply blend into the class. I know in the past, some sophomore transfers have had to take a few classes along with the freshman just to catch up, but I think that has been on a case by case basis. For specifics, I bet you could call the admissions office and they could let you know what your son’s specific situation would be.

Congrats again, everyone! We’re so excited to meet the class of 2015!

abbygirl: if you log onto RU Access using the student ID that is in your acceptance email you can see all of your financial aid and scholarship info.

My daughter received an Acceptance email on Friday. They have 25 in the MT class, half boys, half girls. They accept a lot more because many will decide on other schools. I cannot log into the RU Access for some reason. I sent them an email. We should start a new thread for those accepted and are planning on going so they can meet each other.

Thanks for posting this I will check it out. D is HS senior looking for acting programs and loves Chicago .
