I was thinking of Fordham as a safety, however, I am considering possibly going there and would hope to maybe get into the honors program. I know very little about this program and was wondering what the general stats are for someone applying to the honors program. As in grades, test scores ect. As I want to know if I have a chance of getting in. I was think about applying early, but I might be taking other tests (SAT II's) and I want to know if it would be worth applying RD to get into this program.
Thanks for any help!!!!!

I don’t know much about the Honors program at Fordham but I don’t think applying RD either helps or hurts your chances for admission to it. There used to be some students in the program who posted here so hopefully these threads will give you a little more info. Good luck! :)

My roommate’s gf was in the honors program and scored like a 1450 if I remember correctly (she was in Fordham’s graduating class of 2009 though and Fordham has gotten a lot more competitive and recognized in the 6 years that have followed). Each year, Fordham produces numerous Fulbright scholars, placing them top 20 in the nation and tied with schools like MIT. <a href=“Fordham University”>http://www.fordham.edu/Campus_Resources/eNewsroom/topstories_1682.asp. Therefore, I would not be surprised if you need a minimum of 1450-1500 (M+CR) just to be considered for their Honor’s program. However, I am sure that they also consider other factors such as your EC’s, special talents, etc., as they want a well-rounded class.
