Rose Hill or Lincoln Center

I am interested in Fordham U and since I'm an international student so I won't have the opportunity to visit. I was just wondering what the differences between the two campuses: Rose Hill or Lincoln Center are except for location and if it has any relevance regarding your major which one you choose.

I have the same question too

Sorry...I missed replying earlier. So I hope its not too late. Fordham is an integrated university and students at any campus can take classes at another Fordham campus. And they provide free transportation between campuses until the wee hours. And to JFK and LaGuardia Airport too, though there is a small fee for that to cover gas.

Rose Hill is the oldest and main campus. Go online and see the videos they have posted and the webcams. Its gothic in structure and gorgeous. Just under 90 acres of lush green lawns, trees, beautiful buildings, football, baseball and soccer stadiums and basketball court/stadium. Its the oldest NCAA Div I basketball stadium in the country still in use, and its got character! Lincoln Center was established in the late 60's for Manhattan people mostly and a graduate school and law school. Its grown to many programs. Its near Central Park and the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. But its a post modern urban campus. A mini NYU sort of feel to it, if that appeals to you. Some courses are only offered at Lincoln Center, like Middle Eastern Studies etc. You pick where you will fit in the best with the student body and your personal interests. There are international students at BOTH campuses. The largest campus is Rose Hill. Rose Hill has many options for dormitories as well, with some devoted to themes and study.

But Fordham is an amazing school and offers a superb education. Fordham students are very tight and close nit. They stick together and help each other. You mess with a Fordham student and you mess with a BUNCH of kids!!! There is great school spirit at both campuses. But all the sports are at Rose Hill, if that appeals to you. Some kids just prefer the urban Manhattan campus and that is fine. Their theatre arts program at Lincoln Center is phenomenal and very competitive.

We would welcome you to either campus. I am not a Fordham employee, just a parent of a student.

Lincoln Center!! NYC!!
