Roski School of Fine Arts

USC is on the list of schools I would like to go to but for my major/minor (Graphic Design and/ or Photography, not sure which one I want to study as which yet) I have no idea how strong the program is or if USC is a good choice for these majors. Any opinions? Thanks!

I'm in Roski right now and i chose this... because i really didn't do my research and i planned on majoring in arts (or animation) i was considering changing my major but im not really sure at the moment.

Roski did received 24 million dollars but i don't think they really started spending it yet. it'll take awhile before it becomes strong i think...

roski's pretty tiny school within USC (like 200-300 out of 16,000 people here) and if you really have a passion for these, i wouldn't think its the best choice.. however we do work alot with CNTV (or not.. cinematicarts now) and they are one of the best (if not the best) school for cinema in the world... (like i want to be an animator so its not that bad) but for photography and graphic design.. i'm not so sure. it's not that bad but it's not the best fine art school around. do your research.

uyulove, is hard to get into ROSKI. i am already planning to go to USC as undecided but I want to work on my portfolio and apply for the Spring 2009. do they judge the portfolios hard? I am in AP Art studio now and working on my ap portfolio. any hints?

It's not hard to get in at all. I'm sure if you can hold a pencil you'll get in =_= I dont think anybody I know ever got rejected because Roski's so small... sorry but true...
