Ross after Freshman year

Has anyone here applied (and got in) for the BBA program at Ross while at LSA?

I'm thinking about doing this with pre-med, but how hard is it to get in?

And for the work, I know it will be gruesome, but I am willing to spend a lot of time on it.

yea it’s been done and i know around 10 others in my grade that has done it as well (pre-med lsa –> ross).

Were they extremely strong candidates? What did their grades and resumes look like? (If you know)

It looks like they accepted roughly 40% last year. I just want to know what kind of students they are looking for.

i’m confused what you are asking about… are you asking about the pre-med ross kids or lsa –> ross students in general?

as for the pre-med ross kids, i would say all of the ones i know are very qualified and have good grades and a pretty good resume.

as for the average lsa –> ross student, there are ones with low 3.xx gpas that exist. but the majority of them had pretty good grades. i think the average was a 3.6 something?

I don’t understand, why would pre-med students want to go to Ross? Don’t med schools frown upon vocational undergraduate degrees (except for Engineering)?

Ok, thanks you answered my question.

Infinit- no, not that I know of…I don’t see how a BBA from Ross could ever look bad :)

I mean, if Med Schools don’t care, then I guess it’s a pretty good deal. It’s a much better alternative for docs who want some business experience then the MD/MBA programs.
