You can apply to Ross twice:

During normal rolling admissions (this is called pre-admit because you get admitted to the B-school, but you don't start until your sophomore year)

In the Spring of your freshman year (this is when most people apply and get admitted)

The actual B-school program doesn't start until your second year at Michigan.

Ok thanks,.
also, it says u must apply to ross with a specific schools (LSA, enginerign,..). so if i get in, Am i in the business school or the enginerging school , or both?

ALso, if i apply preadmit to ross and dont get in, am i considered for a regualr school at um?

Most people start in LS&A and then go to Ross. Some go to Ross through Engineering, although that's not as common.

The Ross curriculum doesn't start until your sophomore year, so you have to spend your freshman year in another school at U of M.
