Is a Ross + Computer Science double major work as long as the Compsci degree is from the LSA?
I come in with about 24 credits including Econ, foreign language, and english. Furthermore, will I be able to graduate in four years?
There is now an option to double major in Ross and CoE too, but you need to indicate that on CommonApp. With that program, one should be able to graduate in 4 years. LSA has foreign language and area distribution requirement.
Yes, it works, and yes, you should be able to graduate in four years in theory, especially if your CS degree is from LSA.
Do not underestimate the challenges involved with attempting to double major, especially with the new curriculum. You will be taking a large number of hard credits each semester, and your GPA will most likely fall due to the comparative difficulty of Ross and CS classes. This could hurt you during recruiting sophomore-senior year as well.
You might want to look into doing either the Ross or CS minors and then doing the other as your major.
You can do this. About whether it’s smart or not that’s a different matter.
For graduating in 4 years, it’s possible but might be difficult.
