ROSS/HCSSiM/PROMYS

I've been lucky enough to be accepted to all of these camps, and I was wondering which one I should go to.

Which ones are harder? Which ones are more prestigious to colleges?

I heard that HCSSiM is a lot of fun, and ROSS is really hardcore math (which I'm not sure if I want to do).

Thanks for your opinion!

Albeit the hardest, Ross will give you the best experience. It is also the cheapest for its duration. I have heard reviews about all three, and I think it would be safe to exclude Hcssim from your choices - while “fun” it is generally not as well known nor does it provide the experience that the other two camps will give you.

PROMYS is known as “Ross-lite”. The administrators of PROMYS were alumni from Ross. There isn’t a distinctive prestige level to both these camps; no college is going to accept or reject you depending on whether you went to Ross or PROMYS. However, there are in fact some admissions officers that acknowledge that Ross is the “older sibling” of PROMYS. (and HSMC - both HSMC and PROMYS are “sister programs” run by alumni of Ross"

Go for Ross! Best program, best prestige, best math.

PROMYS is the best!
It’s in BOSTON and you have opportunities to interact with kids from RSI, WTP,MITES …
