Ross Pre-Admit

Decisions just came out!

I got in! Yay. Although I probably won’t be able to accept. Michigan didn’t give me enough money in order for me to attend…

Same, they only gave me 8k in grants and I’m OOS… But either way, my other option is NYU Stern, which is just as expensive…

Superexcited: Did you get in at NYU as well? Did NYU gave you more $$ than Michigan? My D did’nt receive any. She won’t be attending, it is really out of my league.

NYU did give me more money than Michigan but NYU’s COA is much higher, so when you do some subtraction, the actual cost of attending both universities is about the same, for me.

Michigan gave me 5k in grants and I am also OOS. I’m really hoping that Northwestern can offer me a little more than UChicago gave me. The cost of college is ridiculous!

Rejected :frowning:
what were your guys stats?

I got in! It’s a good feeling.

How were you guys notified?

Did Ross send an email??

my son received this today by email,

Still hasn’t received my admission for UM, does that mean I have no chance already?

Ross admissions is independent of UM admissions. Well first, you’d have to get into UM to be considered for Ross pre-admit, but other than that, the admissions process/notification date are different.

@ Big Daddy: Our son received the same email today. The good news is that it isn’t a rejection. There’s no way of knowing how many of these “still in the running” candidates there are. The outcome will depend upon how many acceptances are declined and how many prospects are still waiting for an invite. In the meantime, he’s going to the Open House at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business to which he’s been accepted and waiting to hear from Dartmouth tomorrow. May 1 seems like a long way off! Good luck to your son.

My d has not heard back yet. She was told by the 22nd so the decisions must be coming out in waves.

My D has been accepted, but FA is about 10k including work study and loan.
She’s gotten 36k from Middlebury and is waiting for Northwestern’s and Claremont McKenna’s offers.
