I received an email from Ross School of Business 3-4 days after my admittance to LSA program (2/26) stating that they received my Ross application and are working hard to get the decision back to me before end of April. In the email they also encouraged me to keep exploring many opportunities Ross provides since I will be making decisions in the coming weeks and also connect with Ross admission staff /current Ross students. I was just wondering if everyone who applied to preferred admission to Ross received this email, and if this is any indication of possible pre-admission to Ross???
I was accepted to Ross pre-admit last Friday 3/13 and received that email soon after I was admitted to LSA, but I am not sure if everyone gets that email.
That sounds about right. I think the pre-admission decision would come out around 6 weeks after your initial admission.
How long did it take you to be accepted into Ross, from the notification of being accepted into LSA?
@tiberium I was admitted to LSA the first Friday of February and was admitted to Ross last Friday so around 6 weeks
Son was admitted to LSA on the first ED day, whenever that was, and got Ross pre-admit email this past Friday as well. He also received the email the OP mentioned - I think everyone gets that.
Last week was the first batch for Ross pre-admit, so it would not be earlier even if you were admitted EA.
Anyone know when the next batch of pre-admit decisions will come out?
@aliciaross168 hopefully this friday 3/27???
@chocolate6972 Thanks I’m pretty anxious, unsure whether I want to attend U-M unless I get the pre-admit (which is unfortunately unlikely)
Some didn’t get a final decision on preferred admission to Ross last year until June.
