Just heard from Ross Pre-Admit via email. I am in..... Anyone else hear?

I got in…pretty happy. I’m wondering how many people were accepted and how many applied…

I was accepted. Although I feel badly because I (shallowly) only applied to the Ross Pre-admit program just to have the option of business even though I’m not strongly interested in it and probably won’t accept Ross’ offer even if I end up at Michigan.

^^things you don’t say when I’m one of many who haven’t heard yet and would sell their arms and legs to get into Ross…

I think all accepted or rejected PA students should post some quick stats so future students can have a better idea of their chances. I know this year I was looking for the kind of results thread most schools have, except for Ross PA.

So as for me

ACT-34
SAT-2240
SAT2-Math 2 800, Physics 720
GPA-1 A-, 3.99 UW or something like that 8/9 APs at school
No business extracurriculars like FBLA or DECA or anything like that…just one summer internship at Whirlpool Corp.
Instate and white

I know a student who was just admitted into Ross yesterday:

GPA: 4.0 UW (9 A* on his GCSE, 4 A on his AS and 4 A* predicted on his A level in Math, Further Math, Economics and History)

SAT: 780 M, 720 CR, 750 W

SAT 2: 800 Math Level 2, 800 French, 710 Physics

ECs: Captain of the Rugby team, President of the Student Council, 2 Golf Handicap

Work experience: Barclays Wealth summer of 2011

Other acceptances: Chicago and Northwestern

Waiting to hear back from Cal, Dartmouth, Harvard, Penn (Wharton), Princeton, Stanford and Williams

He will choose Michigan over all but Harvard, Princeton, Stanford and Wharton.

My stats are:
GPA: 4.0 out of 4.0
Class Rank: 1/119
ACT: 34
ECs: Adequate, not spectacular. A few varsity sports seasons, student gov, and summer internship at MI house of reps.
Rigor: Pretty Much as hard as possible (which at my school, isn’t terribly hard)

Accepted to: Boston College (Honors), and University of Michigan (Honors and Ross Pre-Admit)

Still Waiting on: Duke, Harvard, Emory

I won’t be attending BC and I also won’t consider Emory even if I get accepted because I like Michigan way more anyways. So basically it’s between Michigan, Duke and Harvard. Not expecting to get into Harvard. If I get into Duke I’m leaning towards Michigan, but I still could end up at Duke.

Haven’t heard anything yet. Will they notify you even you are rejected?

I havent heard from them yet. Did anyone after March 26th?

jealous of you guys

Just going to bump this thread again…did anyone hear back since March 29?

I’m really tired of waiting.

No…I’m actually upset about waiting too I just want to know at this point
