Ross Rankings for 2010-2011

Ross still ranked in 4th with a score of 4.4, but there's now a gap between 4th and 5th with NYU and Virginia tied for 5th at 4.2 for best undergrad Business programs. Not bashing either of the schools at all, but could this be a significant change or is it something that should really be overlooked?

Also, the specialty rankings
Accounting - Ross - 5th
Entrepreneurship - Ross - NR in the top 10
Finance - Ross - tied for 3rd with MIT, behind UPenn and NYU (iirc, an improvement of one or two spots from last year)
Insurance/Risk Management - Ross - NR in the top 10
Supply Chain Management/Logistics - Ross - 10th
International Business - Ross - tied for 4th with UT-Austin
Management - Ross - 1st
Management Information Systems - Ross - 9th
*Marketing - Ross - 2nd *
Production / Operations Management - Ross - 4th
Quantitative Analysis - Ross - 7th
Real Estate - Ross - NR in the top 10

These rankers never mean anything significant. Of course, everyone here will still tell you Ross >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the world.

I wouldn’t read too much into it. They are both top-flight business schools and I don’t think that’s going to change anytime soon.

lol… and how exactly did they change that much in a year?

No one better be saying that. There are several schools that top Ross for job placement (the only aspect of a business school that matters).

NYU and UVa only went down .1 (if they even did? i don’t really remember the rankings from last year)
that’s not ‘that much’ in my books. I’m reasonably sure all of these rankings are consistent with the rankings from last year with only minor changes
